Promesa BMS

Promesa™ BMS (Bare Metal Stent) for Peripheral Vascular Intervention

PromesaTM BMS is a Self-Expanding Nitinol Peripheral Stent
system. This device consists of the following components:

  • A self-Expandable Stent made from Nitinol Alloy engineered with Meril’s Hybrid stent architecture.
  • An over the wire (OTW) stent delivery system with 0.035” Guidewire compatibility, consisting of PTA catheter that has flexible retractable sheath Available in both 80 and 120 Cm usable catheter lengths.

Key Features

Hybrid Stent Architecture -Hybrid cell design provides excellent balance of flexibility, conformability and kink resistance. -Balanced stent platform offers optimal radial force without compromising flexibility.

High Stent Durability -Hi-grade electro polishing and surface finishing adds to stent integrity resulting in high durability. -Reduced microcracks, reduces the possibility of stent fracture. -Better bend fatigue and higher resistance to axial and radial fatigue.

Placement Accuracy & Visibility -Radiopaque tip helps devise the exact location for stent placement. -Platinum Iridium marker bands on inner metal shaft promote precise positioning.

Access & Deliverability -A 6F system profile facilitates room for contrast injections, providing anatomical visibility during stent delivery. -Pull back device delivery system is braided to provides optimal balance between shaft Pushability and excellent Trackability. -Longitudinal flexibility to cross tortuous vessels and aortic bifurcation with contra-lateral approach.

Indication

Intended for use in the treatment of atherosclerotic diseases of peripheral arteries with reference vessel diameter:

  • 5.00 mm to 7.00 mm for Superficial Femoral Artery (SFA) and
  • 7.00 mm to 10.00 mm for Iliac Artery

in patients eligible for Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) and Stenting procedures.
