The Myra™ BMS - Balloon Expandable Peripheral Stent
System comprises following components –

  • A balloon-expandable L605 Cobalt Chromium Peripheral Stent.
  • An over-the-wire stent delivery PTA Balloon Dilatation Catheter.

The stent is pre mounted on Balloon Catheter & placed between two platinum-iridium radio opaque markers bands.

Closed cell at proximal and distal end offers ostial scaffolding

Co-Cr offers optimum radial strength with lower strut thickness (120 µm) compared to SS material.

Design features include laser bonded tip technology to improve tracking

  • Hybrid stent architecture offering strength & flexibility
  • Lower struts (Co-cr) Minimize vascular injury
  • Minimal foreshortening ≤ 1%
  • Closed cell: For Ostial Scaffolding
  • Open Cells: For Distal Flexibility
  • Flexi-S Connector: Facilitates Stent flexibility during placement
     

Indication

Intended for use in the treatment of atherosclerotic diseases of peripheral arteries below the aortic arch, with reference vessel diameter of 5.00 mm to 10.00 mm for Iliac / Sub-Clavian and for other protected peripheral arteries in patients eligible for Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) and Stenting procedures.
